The European education ministers approved the successor of the Erasmus + program on 26 November. Through Erasmus +, young people and teachers are given the opportunity to study abroad, learn a different language and gain life experience. In 2018 there were more than 10,000 Flemish participants. Europe wants to expand the program considerably in the future and demands more attention for vulnerable participants. Flemish Minister of Education Hilde Crevits aims at at least 30,000 participants a year in the future.
